Job Description

REDC, a leading event management company, is currently seeking a Conference Planner who is passionate about organizing successful conferences. This position requires exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. The chosen candidate will play a vital role in coordinating all aspects of conference planning, from selecting venues to managing logistics.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with clients to understand their conference objectives and requirements
  • Source and negotiate with vendors, including hotels, caterers, and audio-visual service providers
  • Create and manage conference budgets
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract participants
  • Collaborate with speakers and presenters to ensure smooth delivery of content
  • Arrange travel and accommodation for participants
  • Manage registration processes and handle participant inquiries
  • Oversee onsite conference operations
  • Evaluate the success of conferences and suggest improvements for future events

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in event or conference planning
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
