Job Description

The Coordination Officer for the Gender Theme Group (GTG) in Islamabad plays a vital role in ensuring effective coordination among various stakeholders working for gender equality and women empowerment.

This position requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of gender issues and development programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate coordination among GTG members and ensure smooth implementation of the group’s activities
  • Conduct research and analysis on gender-related issues and provide technical support to GTG members
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with relevant government agencies, NGOs, and international organizations
  • Organize workshops, conferences, and training sessions to raise awareness and knowledge on gender equality
  • Prepare reports and contribute to the formulation of gender-related policies and strategies

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, gender studies, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in gender equality and women empowerment
