Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Datacom network KPI monitoring and optimization.
- Traffic routing and project implementations related to network performance efficiency/security and closely measure and follow all performance SLAs with vendors.
- Vendor management and fault management.
- Spare management and documentation of the critical data connectivity.
- Alarm escalation handling and complaints management related to the data traffic.
- IGW Configuration related to new nodes and optimization of old ones.
- Deployment of nodes and its acceptance for integration with the live network.
- To plan and ensure implementation for system upgrades and patches related to Datacom network.
- To co-ordinate with other departments for new requirements and plan for implementation.
- Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues.
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science) or equivalent degree.
- Huawei Datacom Experience is a Plus.
Work Experience:
- 3~4 Years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring, network diagnostic and network analytics tools.
- Solid understanding of the OSI or TCP/IP model, BGP, OSPF.
- CCNA or HCNA certified (preferred).
Skills – Generic:
- Good Communication and Interpersonal skills.
Skills – Job Specific:
- Hands-on Experience on Huawei Datacom network and its deployment.
- In-depth knowledge of procedures like data signaling flow, Wireshark tracing etc.
