Job Description
Position: Core Shed Technician – based at site
Company: Human Resource Solutions International – HRSI
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Baluchistan
Requirements:
- Basic English (ability and willingness to communicate with expat).
- Computer / IT knowledge (ability to undertake basic MS Office and Windows tasks).
- Physical ability to move light objects and walk longer distances in the field.
- Education minimum intermediate.
Responsibilities:
- Assist geologists in their daily work in the core shed and in the field.
- Collect high-quality geological data for geological and geotechnical work.
- Tasks include operating Core Scan equipment.
- Take core photos and process them.
- Collect and prepare geological samples.
- Take measurements of physical properties on geological samples like specific gravity and magnetic susceptibility.
Work Environment:
- Work with a team of professionals.
- Learn from Senior Team members.
- Work in the field and in the core shed.
