JD for the role of Credit Analyst
Role Description
This is a full-time Credit Analyst role, located onsite in Karachi. The Credit Analyst will be responsible for performing credit analysis, investigating credit risk, assessing creditworthiness, financial statement analysis, and cash flow projection.
Qualifications
- In-depth knowledge of Probability of default calculation
- 3 years+ experience in credit pricing
- Valuations experience
- IFRS 9 detail modelling
- Pricing of derivatives
- Credit Management and Credit Analysis skills
- Strong Analytical skills for financial statement analysis and cash flow projection
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Finance skills, including knowledge of financial markets and loan products
- Building risk-based pricing model experience
- Modeling probability of default calculation
- Valuation of interest rate derivatives
Relevant skills and qualifications that would be beneficial for this role include:
- CFA Level 1 or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Experience in credit analysis, credit underwriting, and/or financial analysis
- Good excel / R / SQL / .net knowledge
- Good communication and financial modeling skills.
