Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and adaptable Data Associate to join SMCSE Solutions (Private) Limited. This role demands a high level of attention to detail and involves various data management tasks. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about maintaining data accuracy and efficiency, analytical on solving problems faced during collection and organization of data, and eager to expand their skills into more advanced areas of data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection & Entry: Collect data from various sources, ensuring accurate and timely entry into our databases with precise attention to detail.
- Spreadsheet Handling: Manage spreadsheets (MS Excel and Google Sheets) with high levels of precision, comfortably utilizing functions and formulas to manipulate data.
- Data Researching: Retrieve information from diverse sources including web, documents, images, and reports.
- Data Cleaning: Identify and correct errors or discrepancies in data, emphasizing meticulous attention to ensure the quality of the database.
- Data Organization: Implement data storage practices that support the accessibility and maintenance of data integrity. Comfortable with playing with Table formats in spreadsheets.
- Learning and Growth: Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and mastering new data-related skills, including data analytics, scraping, and visualization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, including the use of formulas and functions.
- Research skills and the ability to source information from various platforms.
- Basic understanding of data analysis and visualization outcomes.
- 6 months – 2 years of experience in the field.
