Job Description
Overview of the role:
We are seeking a Data Engineer with hands-on experience in developing and writing code. The ideal candidate will work closely with the product team to solve business problems through statistical modeling, build and maintain efficient data pipelines, and implement robust ETL processes.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will design and develop data models and scalable data pipelines, execute ETL processes, and integrate Big Data tools. You will collaborate with developers and product owners to optimize data acquisition and storage, model user behavior, and improve customer engagement. Additionally, you’ll participate in problem formulation, statistical experiments, and the implementation of machine learning algorithms.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Candidates must have strong programming skills in Python or similar languages, experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ or Kafka, and proficiency in database querying and BI tools. A background in probability, statistics, machine learning, and at least a bachelor’s degree in a related field with 0.5-2 years of professional experience is required.
