Responsibilities:
- Implement and support systems for interactive query performance on large multi-modal data.
- Collect, parse, analyze, and visualize data. Improve systems for scalability.
- Advocate for better performance of software and systems across teams.
- Troubleshoot and improve data infrastructure using SQL and GCP technologies.
- Create data tools for analytics and optimization.
- Design and lead problem resolutions.
- Promote diverse ideas and opinions.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years experience with data and query optimization.
- Experience with ETL and Google Cloud services.
- Proficient in SQL, NoSQL, RDBMS, and scripting languages (especially Python).
- Knowledge of cloud and distributed systems.
- Empathy and eagerness to teach and learn.
Good to have:
- Experience with Apache Airflow, Looker Studio, and Kafka.
