Job Description

We are hiring a ‘Data Protection Officer’ for a Saudi-based fintech company expanding in Pakistan. The role is based in Lahore and cannot be performed remotely.

Job Summary: Our client is committed to ensuring data protection and compliance, informing employees about data regulations.
Job Purpose: The DPO must ensure compliance with Personal Data Protection Laws (PDPL) and UAE guidelines, acting as the main contact within the organization and with data protection authorities.
Qualifications:
1) Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
2) Three or more years of experience in data protection compliance.
3) Experience in legal, audit, or risk management roles. Knowledge of UAE data protection laws is a plus.
4) Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
5) Excellent presentation and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage sensitive information.
