Overview:
We are seeking a candidate who will be responsible for developing and implementing business strategies to enhance DHL’s business performance. The incumbent will need to have a comprehensive understanding of customers’ shipping requirements to provide them with tailored logistics and distribution services.

Major Expertise: Sales and business expertise in the Ocean Freight domain.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers to ensure their continuous satisfaction.
- Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and provide timely responses to inquiries.
- Manage and retain a designated customer portfolio.
- Develop and execute sales plans, strategies, and activities to achieve target budgets.
- Negotiate contractual terms of service provision with customers, aligning them with corporate sales policies and procedures.
- Deliver high-quality presentations of standardized products and services to potential customers.
- Plan and carry out sales calls to improve customer retention and acquire new business.
- Gather all necessary information to assess the creditworthiness of potential customers.
- Conduct surveys and market research to identify potential business prospects and analyze competitor behavior.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of field sales experience in freight forwarding or shipping line.
- In-depth knowledge of ocean freight, logistics business models, and trade lane specifics in the forwarding industry.
- Master’s degree preferred in a relevant field.
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record in sales.
- Strong communication, management, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
