Job Description
- Responsible for reviewing and developing data models and database designs in coordination with system analyst and development team (in-house/outside vendor). Entity-relationship models are used with relational databases, normalizing, de-normalizing, indexing, and defining views.
- Responsible for ensuring virus protection of systems and databases.
- Responsible for coordinating with hardware/Network Administrator to control user access to the database.
- Responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling the entire system’s database design and data flow.
- Responsible for attending, participating, and providing input in departmental meetings and managing special job assignments, if any.
