Job Description
A Desktop Support Officer is responsible for providing technical assistance and resolving computer-related issues for both internal staff and external clients. The primary duties of this role include troubleshooting hardware and software problems, installing and maintaining computer systems, and performing regular system updates. In addition, the Desktop Support Officer will be responsible for assisting with network setups, configuring computer peripherals, and providing support for various applications. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask are essential for success in this position. To be considered for this role, candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, as well as relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+. Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented approach are also crucial.
