Job Description
Apt Resources seeks an experienced Diamond Evaluator to support a client’s mining operations in Angola. The successful candidate will apply gemological expertise to assess, grade, and value rough diamonds in accordance with international standards.
- Evaluate and grade rough diamonds using gemological instruments; prepare accurate parcel reports.
- Estimate market value using current pricing data; ensure meticulous documentation.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams for secure handling and transport.
- Requirements: Degree in Gemology or related field and minimum 8 years’ experience; fluent in Portuguese and/or English.
- Benefits: Monthly salary USD 5,00–7,00 plus commission; accommodation and meals provided; 30 days annual leave with travel support.
