Job Description

The ideal candidate is a team player who has strong knowledge of internal control concepts and risk management principles. The incumbent will be responsible to develop and execute the annual internal audit plan, following established schedules and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Create and review detailed audit workpapers, documenting procedures, findings, and conclusions for comprehensive reports.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance, recommending enhancements as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to understand business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal audit processes and provide training to junior team members.
  • Leverage technology tools and data analytics to enhance audit efficiency, staying updated on relevant advancements.
  • Facilitate the preparation of Board Audit Committee activities, including compiling agendas, creating presentations, capturing meeting minutes, and coordinating post-meeting follow-ups to ensure effective communication and compliance with governance practices.
  • Proactively identify and implement performance improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit function, emphasizing value addition through digitalization tools and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of IA internal governance by actively participating in the digitalization of audit processes, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Promote awareness within the organization on compliance policies, including gift policies, business ethics, whistleblowing, etc., through targeted communication strategies, training initiatives, and proactive engagement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • CA / ACCA / ICAEW Qualified, with at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Strong knowledge of internal control concepts and risk management principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Strong stakeholder management.
