Media @ Marsons (Marsons Media Ltd) is a publishing startup and services provider led by a small but passionate team. We are pleased to open the job posting for a Content Editor & Proofreader.
Job Type:
- Full Time. Office-based role.
- Competitive salary.
Core Requirements:
- Exceptional reading, writing, and speaking skills in the English Language.
- Ability to find issues and imperfections in written text.
- Strong portfolio of published content.
- Exceptional research skills.
Technical Requirements:
- Must be able to write, edit, and proofread content about finance, crypto, real estate, technology, IT, taxation, networking, development, gadgets, and other similar technical topics.
- Must have demonstrable experience with online media publication tools and best practices.
- Experience with editing SEO or e-Learning Content.
- Proven leadership experience.
Job Duties:
- Lead a team of writers and assist them with producing excellent quality content while meeting deadlines and targets.
- Proofread written content and fix errors and issues related to grammar, spelling, sentence structure, logic, correctness, clarity, tone, and tenses.
- Improve the writing abilities of writers by offering advice, actionable steps, resources, and suggestions.
- Rewrite, reorganize, redo, and carry out changes to written content to meet our quality standards.
- Ensure all content is produced by the given deadlines, is complete, and meets the client’s requirements.
