Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site Editor role at Public Discourse located in Lahore. The Editor will be responsible for editing and proofreading articles, ensuring adherence to editorial standards and guidelines. The Editor will also work closely with writers to improve content quality, and manage publication schedules and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with editorial standards and guidelines
- Ability to work collaboratively with writers and other team members
- Experience with content management systems and digital publishing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or related field
- Experience in journalism, media, or related fields is a plus
