Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ECU Programmer and Automotive Electronics Specialist to manage the flashing and tuning of Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for vehicles. This role necessitates a profound understanding of ECU programming, flashing methodologies, and automotive electronics systems.
Responsibilities:
- Execute ECU flashing, programming, and tuning for various vehicle models.
- Update ECU firmware and implement custom tuning for enhanced vehicle performance.
- Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot ECU-related issues and calibrate systems.
- Collaborate with engineers and automotive technicians to ensure smooth ECU integration.
- Maintain comprehensive logs of all programming and testing operations.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in ECU flashing tools like Alientech KESSv2, K-TAG, Dimsport, or equivalent.
- Solid grasp of CAN bus communication and automotive electronics systems.
- Experience with performance tuning and diagnostics (e.g., OBD-II scanners).
- Familiarity with ECU mapping, coding, and calibration techniques.
- Prior experience with engine control systems, transmission controllers, or similar devices.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in automotive electronics or engineering.
