Job Description
Location: Reko Diq Mine Site – Baluchistan
Qualification: Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) (Power/ Electronics)
Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of relevant process and mining environment experience.
- Experience with HV, MV & LV equipment’s, Switchgears, Transformers, motors, VFDs.
- Experience with Configuration, Testing, Commissioning and Troubleshooting of ABB, Siemens, Schneider drives/switchgears/motors.
- Experience of MV, LV cable termination and jointing.
- Experience with AC & DC MV / LV motors overhauling/rewinding.
- Experience with HFO, diesel thermal power Gen (1-300 MW) & Solar Power Plant integration.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of electrical drawings, managing electrical substation compliances. Knowledge of BESS is an advantage.
- Proficiency in operating electrical testing tools & underground utility locator.
- Understanding of basic computer skills relevant to electrical engineering and project management.
Responsibilities:
- Lead electricians and technicians
- Oversee electrical tasks
- Manage power reticulation
- Conduct inspections
- Handle installations and upgrades
- Maintain inventory
- Enforce safety protocols
- Ensure regulatory compliance for camp and project facilities.
