Job Description
Role Description:
This is an assignment-based role for an Electro-Mechanical Technician at Elaf Innovations (Pvt.) Ltd located in Islamabad. The Electro-Mechanical Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, as well as performing diagnostic testing and troubleshooting of equipment. The successful candidate will also collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure smooth operations, prevent downtime, and improve productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Soldering: Perform soldering tasks to assemble, repair, or modify electronic components and circuits according to engineering specifications and industry standards.
- Installation of Gate Automation: Install, test, and troubleshoot gate automation systems, including motors, sensors, controllers, and safety mechanisms, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to safety regulations.
- Pump Automation: Install, configure, and maintain pump automation systems used in various industrial and commercial applications, including water treatment, HVAC systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Electrical Wiring: Wire and connect electrical components, switches, relays, and sensors according to wiring diagrams and schematics, ensuring proper voltage, current, and signal flow.
- Mechanical Assembly: Assemble electromechanical systems and components, including motors, gears, actuators, and mechanical linkages, following assembly instructions and best practices.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in electromechanical systems using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and technical documentation.
- Preventive Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting electromechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related field
- Experience in soldering of electronics components and repair of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with reading circuits, diagrams, and technical manuals
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot problems and perform repairs
- Ability to use hand tools and electrical equipment, as well as testing and measuring devices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask effectively
- Previous experience with gate automation systems and/or soldering of PCBs is a plus.
- Solar installation experience is also a plus.
