Job Description
Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy conglomerate, is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. PARCO owns and operates Pakistan’s most modern refinery, over 2,00 kms of pipeline network, strategic storage facilities, and marketing operations. The Company has Joint Ventures with renowned international companies and is continually following an aggressive growth strategy with planned expansions, acquisitions, and penetration into new markets.
PARCO is seeking applications for the following position at its Mid Country Refinery.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics Engineering from a HEC recognized University (with valid registration as Engineer with PEC).
- The candidate should have competency in performing Plant Automation & Control System (PACS) troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Should be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience of performing jobs on DCS (Distributed Control System), ESD (Emergency Shutdown System), and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
- Hands-on experience of working with YOKOGAWA & Honeywell DCS/ESD systems.
- Hands-on experience on Allen Bradley SLCs, PLCs, Control logix (PAC), HMI, TAS (Terminal Automation System), VMS (Vibration Monitoring System).
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and supervise operations and maintenance for all Control Systems related activities including package installations.
- Execute all Maintenance Orders as per HSEQ Policy.
- Investigate equipment trips and recommend/implement solutions to prevent future trips.
- Lead and recommend new continuous improvement solutions for installations or modifications to improve existing facilities and standardization within specific fields of endeavor.
- Estimate costs, prepare justifications, and complete expenditure requests as required.
- Provide engineering expertise regarding maintenance for the resolution of process control system problems.
- Plan and execute upgrades for Hardware & Software of various systems to keep them in line with the latest supported levels by respective OEM.
