Job Description
Location: Karachi, Pakistan
The Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) with 3 to 4 years of experience is responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems to ensure smooth and efficient plant operations. This role involves conducting routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and assisting with repairs to minimize downtime. The engineer works closely with senior maintenance staff and other departments to troubleshoot problems, optimize machine performance, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in mechanical systems, a hands-on approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and practical experience with industrial machinery are essential for this position, along with a basic understanding of maintenance management systems and safety protocols.
