Job Description
Education & Relevant Experience: Graduation in Engineering (Preferably in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, or Mechanical) with 2-4 years of experience
Knowledge:
- Certification in NEBOSH IGC
- Certification in ISO 45001, 14001
- Adequate knowledge of firefighting and high-risk activities
- Adequate Knowledge of International Standards (NFPA, OSHA or equivalent, IOSH)
- Adequate Knowledge of Legal requirements
- Adequate Knowledge of applicable Local Laws of EHS
Job Description:
- Conducts periodic risk assessment, job-based risk assessment, e.g., crane activity
- Communicates roles/responsibilities in emergencies
- Conducts monthly/quarterly firefighting drills/training
- Ensures inspection/testing of EHS equipment
- Participates in internal/external audits
- Delivers EHS induction training to new workers
- Designs/delivers EHS trainings for line management
- Coordinates with Manager EHS for visibility signs
