Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Equity Research Analyst to join our team at Sherman Securities (Pvt) Ltd. As an Equity Research Analyst, you will work closely with our senior research analysts to analyze stocks, develop investment strategies, and provide recommendations to our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analysis on individual stocks, industry trends, and macroeconomic conditions to assist in developing investment recommendations.
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models to evaluate the performance of companies and forecast future earnings.
- Write detailed reports on your findings and contribute to investment recommendations and risk assessments.
- Monitor the performance of stocks in your coverage universe and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Attend company events, industry conferences, and other relevant meetings to gather information and insights on companies in your coverage universe.
- Collaborate with other members of the research team to share insights and develop investment strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including the ability to build and maintain financial models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write clear and concise reports.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
