Job Description
Job Purpose:
- To enhance the capacity of the Legal Department in performing its operations and functions
Job Responsibilities:
- Assisting the legal department in overseeing strategic organizational & project development pursuits
- Managing legal issues in existing commercial relationships for regulatory compliance
- Formulating contracts-based strategy for corporate matters
- Drafting and reviewing agreements/commercial contracts/legal documents
- Providing advice on business strategy and legal research for impact assessment
- Advising internal stakeholders and negotiating with clients
Skillset:
- Strong business and legal acumen
- Well versed in corporate, telecommunication, and regulatory laws
- Experienced in drafting legal documents and research
- Understanding of company compliance procedures
- Team management, negotiation, analytical skills
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Quick problem-solving ability and legal issue analysis
Education:
- LLB from a reputable university
- BPTC/LPC/LLM considered advantageous
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience required
