Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, with substantial experience working in UK-based firms. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can manage complex financial tasks and contribute to the strategic financial planning of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with UK GAAP and other relevant accounting standards.
• Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Conduct financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead the preparation of annual audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in the preparation of tax returns.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
