Job Description

Our client, NOW HR, a leading chain of hotels, is looking to hire a Finance Manager for its corporate office in Karachi. The budget for this position is 250K. Candidates are requested to submit their resumes along with photographs. The position will report to the CFO.

• Manage ongoing activities in the absence of the CFO.
• Participate in the preparation of SOPs.
• Supervise staff and resolve their queries.
• Manage payables and maintain controls on supplier payments.
• Monitor and interpret cash flows and predict trends.
• Develop mechanisms and assign tasks to team members.
• Produce accurate financial reports for management and operations teams to evaluate performance against budgets and last year’s figures. This includes daily and weekly sales reports, COS/stock margin analysis report, labor analysis report, wastage reports, and any other analysis desired by the management.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and make accurate tax deductions.
• Prepare tax returns, filings, payments, necessary paperwork, and responses to notices.
• Submit annual income tax returns for the organization for the financial year.
• Maintain a fixed assets register and reconcile with ledgers.
• Prepare monthly financial reports with required analysis and commentaries.
• Assist line manager in monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual performance reporting for the Board of Directors.
• Reconcile intercompany accounts.
• Assist CFO in monthly and annual accounts closings.
• Prepare presentations for line manager on new business opportunities and their evaluations presented to the Board of Directors.
• Coordinate with both internal and external auditors to perform audits and filing of accounts.
• Undertake any other duties as directed by the management.

Requirements:

• 5 – 7 years of experience.
• CA or partly qualified.
• Preferably with a hospitality background.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,00.00 – Rs250,00.00 per month
