Job Description
Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Senior Management
Job Overview: The Finance Manager is responsible for the overall financial health and strategy of the organization. They play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making, ensuring the organization’s financial goals and objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
- Analyze financial data and trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the company’s financial health.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget in collaboration with department heads.
- Monitor budget variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Provide guidance on cost control measures and budget compliance.
- Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
- Manage and optimize cash flow to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
- Implement cash management strategies to enhance liquidity and minimize risk.
- Identify and assess financial risks, proposing risk mitigation strategies.
- Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the organization.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
- Collaborate with auditors and support the audit process.
- Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Provide guidance and training to team members.
- Collaborate with senior management in making strategic financial decisions.
- Conduct financial analysis to support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Finance or CA Finalist, ACCA, CMA.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
- Proficient in financial software and MS Excel.
