Job Description

Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO) or Senior Management

Job Overview: The Finance Manager is responsible for the overall financial health and strategy of the organization. They play a key role in financial planning, analysis, and decision-making, ensuring the organization’s financial goals and objectives are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning.
  • Analyze financial data and trends, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to assess the company’s financial health.
  • Prepare and manage the annual budget in collaboration with department heads.
  • Monitor budget variances and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide guidance on cost control measures and budget compliance.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and reporting requirements.
  • Manage and optimize cash flow to meet operational needs and financial obligations.
  • Implement cash management strategies to enhance liquidity and minimize risk.
  • Identify and assess financial risks, proposing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, economic conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations.
  • Collaborate with auditors and support the audit process.
  • Lead and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members.
  • Collaborate with senior management in making strategic financial decisions.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Finance or CA Finalist, ACCA, CMA.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Excel.
