Job Description

Accounting and Reporting:

• Bookkeeping, client invoicing and follow-up payments, ledger maintenance, and day-book management using QuickBooks.
• Prepare budget, cost analysis reports, and project costing for clients.
• Tracking and management of employee/contractor time sheets and running semimonthly and monthly pay cycles using QuickBooks for Canada.
• Responsible for handling back office operations (candidate onboarding, contract paperwork, candidate setup in QuickBooks etc.)
• Work closely with Senior management for quarterly HST filings and annual tax filings for Canada and USA.
• Work closely with corporate and legal advisers in Pakistan to deal with all legal and compliance matters including tax filing.
• Create financial statements for management on a periodic basis and provide financial advisory to the senior management and business leaders as per the need.
• Create standard calculation templates in MS Excel as per management request.
• May require sales tax return submission in Pakistan.
• May require liaison with the bank.
• Create yearly payroll calendars and financial calendars.
• Follow up with contractors to remind them to submit timesheets and have those approved on time.
• Overseeing of administration duties.

Skills and Requirements:

• ACCA/finance graduate.
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Nice to have an ACCA/CMA/CFA/CA with any other certification.
• Strong understanding of QuickBooks and MS Excel (must have).
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge / Hands-on experience on ERP (nice to have).
