Job Description

• Responsible for implementing all orders of safety & security management.
• Investigating criminal acts such as immoral or sexual assaults, robberies, theft or attempted theft at campus, office invasions/thefts, burglaries, hospital property assets, fighting incidents, fire or suspected fire incidents, etc.
• Retaining evidence to solve crimes.
• Interviewing informants, suspects, and witnesses to gather clues, time frames, and possible suspects, and keeping detailed records.
• Preparing investigative reports.
• Maintaining an in-depth knowledge of federal and state rules and regulations.
• Demonstrating a sound understanding of fire behavior and extreme fire ground dynamics.
• Assessing proper size-up (risk vs. gain) early in the operation.
• Implementing existing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Planning two fire safety staff trainings every month and presenting training data on a monthly basis.
• Carrying out staff fire safety trainings at outreach units and inspecting fire safety apparatus/refilling and expiry dates, ensuring stickers are fixed, and maintaining all records.
• Inspecting all fire safety equipment at the main campus, ensuring all equipment is up to date and not expired, and updating stickers are fixed.
• Maintaining all data of fire safety equipment and making arrangements for refilling where required.
• Any other tasks assigned by the safety & security department management.
