Job Description
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including depreciation.
- Reconcile fixed asset subledgers monthly.
- Calculate and record monthly depreciation expenses.
- Prepare journal entries for fixed asset transactions.
- Conduct physical inventories of fixed assets.
- Assist with annual fixed asset roll-forward schedules.
- Research and resolve discrepancies related to fixed assets.
- Collaborate with departments for capitalization of fixed assets.
- Stay updated on accounting standards for fixed assets.
- Support upper management on special projects.
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in fixed asset accounting or related field.
- Experience with NetSuite preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Knowledge of fixed asset accounting principles and GAAP.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, self-starter with ownership in work.
