Job Description
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a General Accountant at Hello Bleu. The General Accountant will be responsible for day-to-day accounting tasks, including financial record-keeping, preparing financial reports, managing accounts payable and receivable, and performing general ledger reconciliations.
- Process daily sales receipts and record them accurately in the accounting system.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and generate purchase orders to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Manage cash flow by monitoring inflows and outflows.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders for necessary supplies and equipment.
- Run payroll processes efficiently and ensure timely payments.
- Stay updated on Pakistani tax regulations and ensure compliance in all accounting practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) and best practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
- Ability to manage accounts payable and receivable functions effectively.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (e.g., Finance), ACCA qualification is preferred.
- Knowledge of Pakistani tax regulations is a must.
- Openness to working in our Karachi office environment.
- CPA certification is a plus.
