Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the entire engineering function and lead a team of engineers and technicians in the development, maintenance, and optimization of equipment and processes
2. Oversee maintenance programs for machinery, ensuring high levels of uptime and minimal disruption to production
3. Liaise with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality equipment and materials that meet both technical and cost requirements
4. Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of technical contracts, including software licensing agreements, service-level agreements (SLAs)
5. Develop and manage engineering budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation
6. Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence
7. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements, including sustainability and safety guidelines

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

1. Min bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical) with 15+ years of experience in the apparel or garment manufacturing industry with at least 5 years in a senior engineering management role
2. Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, including safety and environmental standards
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments and with senior executives
