Job Description
We’re hiring a Head of Internal Audit for one of our financial institution clients based in Karachi, Pakistan. This position entails various responsibilities including developing an annual risk-based audit plan, assessing company risks and internal controls, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, and coordinating with external auditors. The successful candidate will also be responsible for reporting audit findings to the Board Audit Committee, assisting in fraud investigations, and staying updated on industry best practices. The ideal candidate should be a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan or Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan, with a minimum of 8 years of related work experience, including at least 5 years in Internal Audit. Previous experience and knowledge of Financial Markets or Investment Banking would be advantageous.
