Job Description
Leading overall operations of Laboratory ensuring quality services.
Responsibilities:
- Directs, establishes, and plans the overall policies and goals for a hospital’s laboratory services.
- Provides medical laboratory diagnostic and therapeutic information, products, and services.
- Adheres to specimen preparation procedures.
- Implements new programs, tests, methods, and instrumentation.
- Establishes quality standards to maintain medical laboratory equipment performance.
- Keeps supplies stocked by determining inventory level.
- Maintains medical laboratory staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must have FCPS (Haematology) / MCPS (Pathology) with 5 – 8 years’ experience of related job including 4 Years as Head of Laboratory in a reputable hospital.
- Must have sound knowledge of Machines and reagents.
