Job Description
- To lead and effectively manage cost management functions i.e. Cost benchmarking, Cost Analysis, Quotation management, Price finalization, Global Sourcing and Cost down projects.
- Handle communications and negotiations with best possible prices and terms with vendors.
- To control overall BOM cost as per company target and finalize price approvals of all BOM items.
- To maintain budgeted material cost, analyze product costing and meet defined cost targets.
- To plan, manage, and coordinates all activities related to cost down projects.
- Cost analysis and benchmarking with HQ, market and competitors.
- To assist internal and external audits, departmental business plan and budget preparation.
- Responsible for the implementation of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018.
- To ensure that departmental activities are performed as per policies and procedures.
- Lead the cost management team in executing best practices and measuring performance through agreed upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- SOP working of related department.
- Reporting to Company`s management and Commercial Division HOD.
