Job Description

Job Title: Head of Sales – Veterinary

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Industry: Pharmaceutical

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales for our Veterinary division to lead and drive our sales strategy in Karachi. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the veterinary pharmaceutical market, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales management. This role will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing and executing sales plans, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine, Animal Science, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.

Required Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the veterinary pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy Development and Execution:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Establish sales targets, KPIs, and performance metrics for the sales team.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.

Market Expansion and Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market presence.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
  • Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company’s products and services.

Sales Operations and Reporting:

  • Oversee sales operations, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales performance, market insights, and business development activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and product development, to support business objectives.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Develop and implement customer retention strategies.
