Company Description
Gharibwal Cement Limited is a leading cement manufacturing and sales company located in Pind Dadan Khan, Pakistan. The company has a modern state-of-the-art plant with a production capacity of 6700 tons per day clinker. GCL is a member of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry and its equity shares are listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. GCL has played a significant role in several national construction projects such as the Mangla Dam, Qadirabad Barrage, and Sulemanki Barrage.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head of Store. The Head of Store will be responsible for managing day-to-day store operations, ensuring the safe custody of inventory, and timely reporting of inventory consumption analysis. They will continuously review and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of store management policies, procedures, and processes, identify improvement opportunities, and make recommendations to the Plant Head. Additionally, the Head of Store will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels. The role is located in Pind Dadan Khan.
Qualifications
- Communication, Customer Service, and Retail Sales skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Very good knowledge of inventory planning and management principles and techniques
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Good leadership and relationship management skills
- Working knowledge of ERP or other planning applications (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
- Ability to take initiative and act proactively
- Experience in the cement or construction industry is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, preferably in mechanical engineering
- Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in an ERP environment (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics)
