Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: This position ensures compliance with safety legislation, fosters a safety culture, and promotes health and safety practices in the workplace.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Implements safety aspects per company policy and legal requirements.
- Analyzes safety requirements and hazards.
- Ensures daily safety reviews and proper safety measures.
- Trains and authorizes workers, forecasts risks, and corrects unsafe acts.
- Reports safety violations and ensures proper tool usage.
- Conducts daily inspections and promotes Health, Safety, and Environmental awareness.
- Stops unsafe work practices.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Minimum Academic Qualifications: Technical Diploma/Science Graduate
Minimum Experience: 5+ years (3 years with large companies)
Projects worked on: Substation, Power Plants, Industrial Facilities, Commercial Buildings
Generic Skills: Communication, Organizing, Computer, Presentation, Planning, Training Skills
