Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role, located in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The Health Safety Environment Officer will be responsible for overseeing health and safety practices in the workplace, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, carrying out risk assessments, and developing and implementing safety policies and procedures. The Officer will also be responsible for conducting safety audits and investigations, and providing health and safety training to employees.
Qualifications
- Health & Safety, Workplace Safety, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) skills
- Occupational Health and NEBOSH certification
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with others and to lead and motivate a team
- Experience in conducting safety audits and investigations
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
