Job Description
WFP is seeking a Driver (HTV) for a 6-month service contract (possible extension), based at Achini Bala warehouse, Peshawar, Pakistan. Reporting to the Logistics Associate Warehouse, the incumbent will operate UN fleet trucks, forklift, towing vehicles and water bowsers, perform light vehicle duties, collect fuel, conduct daily checks and minor repairs, maintain logbooks and monthly fuel reports, ensure vehicle cleanliness and readiness, follow security procedures and assist with basic translation when required.
- Education: Secondary school completion and formal driver training with a valid HTV license.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years driving experience, preferably with an international organization or UN, with a demonstrated safe driving record.
- Skills: Vehicle maintenance, safety standards, radio/communication use and basic first aid.
