Company Description
Yangtze Three Gorges Technology & Economic Development Company (TGDC) is currently involved in the construction of the 720MW Karot Hydropower Project, AJK/Punjab. This project is a significant pilot project under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Role Description
We are seeking a full-time on-site HSE Inspector for the Karot Hydro Power Project. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting our worksites in the Karot hydro power projects area to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Your key responsibilities will include identifying potential risks and implementing corrective measures to mitigate them. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to achieve project objectives.
Qualifications
- Minimum Undergraduate or Bachelor’s degree, with preference given to Master’s holders.
- Experience of 2-3 years in mega construction projects or hydro power projects.
- Prior experience with IFC or World Bank funded projects and Chinese enterprises engineering projects.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Audit certification is a plus.
- Iosh / Nebosh Certified.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
