Job Description
The HR Officer will be responsible for setting up and managing human resources operations for our team spread in Dubai and Pakistan. This role will play a pivotal part in establishing and maintaining our company culture and ensuring that our recruitment, onboarding, and employee management processes align with our values and objectives.
Please note this is a work from home position and you will be remotely working with our Dubai team.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Overseeing the recruitment process, including crafting job descriptions, screening potential hires, and managing the interview process.
- Finding the required talent for upcoming positions, screening their CVs, conducting initial interviews, recommending the right candidates to the team leader, negotiating compensations with shortlisted candidates, and professionally closing the hiring process.
- Organizing and managing new employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
- Managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Assessing training needs and monitoring training programs.
- Reporting to management and providing decision support through HR metrics.
- Administering employee services and counseling.
- Developing and monitoring overall HR strategies, systems, and procedures across the company.
- Nurturing a positive working environment.
- Leading the implementation of the HRMS (we use Zoho People to manage HR).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; Masters will be a plus.
- Proven experience as an HR officer, administrator, or other HR position.
- Knowledge of HR functions (recruitment, HR operations, etc.)
- Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus.
- Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Strong ethics and reliability.
