Job Summary:
The HR Officer will be responsible for managing office operations, supporting recruitment efforts, maintaining employee records, and assisting in the development and implementation of HR policies. This role requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of HR practices and labor laws.
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage day-to-day office operations to ensure a smooth workflow.
· Coordinate and schedule meetings, conferences, and company events.
· Post job vacancies on various platforms and internal channels.
· Screen resumes and shortlist candidates for interviews.
· Schedule and coordinate interviews with potential candidates.
· Conduct reference checks for shortlisted candidates.
· Facilitate new employee on-boarding processes to ensure a smooth transition.
· Prepare and update new hire documentation and orientation materials.
· Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
· Update personal information, leave records, and attendance data.
· Administer employee benefits programs and interpret HR policies.
· Performance Management:
· Assist in performance management processes, including goal setting and evaluations.
· Support the development and implementation of performance improvement plans.
· Promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
· Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
· Stay updated on legal requirements and best practices in HR management.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Proven experience as an HR Officer or similar role.
· Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices.
· Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
· Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
