Job Description
We are looking for an Import Executive with the following responsibilities:
- Coordinating import documentation and discrepancies with the POL office.
- Working with Slot operators for container list updates.
- Managing B/L documents with Overseas agents.
- Arranging HBLs from local forwarders.
- Entering Import Data in the Climax system.
- Uploading and verifying IGM Data in the WeBOC system.
- Sending IGM copies to customers for confirmation.
- Notifying forwarders about arrivals via email.
- Following up with customers on outstanding payments.
- Solving operational issues like terminal delivery or weight discrepancies.
- Dealing with Empty yards for container acceptance.
- Handling Forwarding import shipments.
- Conducting Import Counter transactions.
- Coordinating GD clearance with customers for empty containers.
- Communicating with Importers and Clearing agents via email.
- Any other duties assigned by Management or Seniors.
