Job Description
FIZA NOOR is currently seeking a committed Import Officer to oversee the entire import process. This critical role includes responsibilities such as coordinating the opening of letters of credit (LC), tracking shipments, facilitating customs clearance, and verifying documentation. The ideal candidate will liaise effectively with banks, freight forwarders, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with Pakistan Customs, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), and international trade regulations.
Additionally, you will monitor shipment schedules to prevent additional costs, maintain precise records, and manage duty and tax calculations. This position also entails providing support to internal departments in material planning and generating reports on import expenses and efficiency metrics.
