Job Description
- Provide first-line technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to system hardware, software, and networks promptly.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and usability of computer hardware and software.
- Perform routine maintenance on computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks for continuous operation.
- Install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, and applications per company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of issues and resolutions in the IT helpdesk system.
- Generate reports on IT activities and system performance for management review.
- Provide technical guidance and training to enhance end-users’ understanding of systems.
- Assist in developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Liaise with other departments to understand IT needs and offer timely support.
- Collaborate with the IT team on implementing improvements to the IT infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and IT security protocols.
- Implement security measures such as firewalls, encryption, and access controls.
- Monitor security systems, respond to incidents, and support resolution efforts.
