Job Description
Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO), an integrated energy conglomerate, is a Joint Venture between Pakistan and Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The Company has Joint Ventures with renowned international companies and is continually following an aggressive growth strategy with planned expansions, acquisitions, and penetration into new markets.
Pak-Arab Refinery Limited (PARCO) is seeking applications for the positions of Inspection Engineer.
Qualifications and Competencies:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
• Practical Experience in Inspection activities preferably in Oil and Gas / Fertilizer / Chemical industries with sound knowledge of Mechanical Inspection of pumps, Motors, valves, piping, storage tanks etc.
• Understanding of Asset Integrity, Maintainability, and life-cycle costing.
• Knowledge of the international standards and codes like NACE, ASME, API and ASTM
• Advanced PC skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and SAP will be preferred.
Experience:
• Up to 08 years’ experience.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible to execute all types of in-house inspection activities of stationary and rotary equipment.
• Ensures the Post-inspection reporting either by SAP notifications or inspection reports.
• The candidate should be responsible for maintaining inspection data and history of equipment for analysis
• The ideal candidate should Assist the team and seniors for Audits & Root Cause Analysis
(RCAs) of asset failures.
• He/she should analyze the data gathered during Inspections and maintain a record/history for equipment
• The prospective candidate should have the ability to analyze the data gathered during Inspections and maintain a record/history for equipment.
• The candidate should be responsible enough to maintain good corporate relationship with all internal and external stakeholders.
