Job Description

About the team

This position reports to Senior People Ops Specialist and is based in Karachi.

What you’ll do

  • Act as a point of contact for Careem colleagues on all Medical related issues
  • Liaison between medical insurer and the Careem colleagues if and when a situation arises
  • Complete understanding of Careem medical insurance policies and act as a knowledge source
  • Receive, submit, and track reimbursement requests and claims
  • Collaborate with medical insurer on medical ID card delivery
  • Make suggestions for policy and process improvement
  • Stay abreast of changes in Medical laws/policies
  • Handling and updating data of all colleagues and dependents on medical portal
  • Handle additions, deletions of medical insurance
  • Promptly address colleague inquiries via Slack and email
  • Involvement in any other tasks as required

What you’ll need

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organization skills and problem-solving mindset

Minimum qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management/Business Management or equivalent experience

Languages

  • Fluent English and localized market language, in both reading and writing
  • Additional languages are advantageous
