Job Description
Audit Planning and Execution: Collaborate with the Supervisor in developing audit plans and strategies to address organizational risks and objectives. Lead and execute comprehensive internal audits across various departments and functions. Ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
Team Supervision: Supervise and guide a team of Audit Officers, providing mentorship and performance feedback. Assign audit tasks, review work papers, and ensure audit objectives are met.
Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks, vulnerabilities, and areas for improvement during audits. Formulate and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
Reporting and Communication: Prepare detailed audit reports, summarizing findings, and providing practical recommendations for improvement. Communicate audit results to senior management and stakeholders. Collaborate with management to develop action plans to address identified issues.
Compliance and Ethics: Ensure that audit activities comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and the organization’s code of ethics. Promote a culture of compliance and integrity within the organization.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with industry trends, audit methodologies, and regulatory changes. Foster a culture of continuous learning within the audit team.
