Role & Responsibilities

• Lead and Execute Financial Audits:
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct financial audits as per the International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Evaluate financial processes, controls, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure Compliance:
  • Stay updated on changes in IASs, taxation laws, and other relevant regulations to ensure the organization’s compliance.
  • Guide the implementation of necessary changes to maintain compliance.
• Costing Analysis:
  • Conduct thorough costing analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance financial efficiency.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments to implement recommendations for cost optimization.
• Taxation Expertise:
  • Stay abreast of changes in tax regulations and ensure the company’s adherence to tax laws.
  • Work closely with the finance team to guide tax planning and optimization.
• Risk Assessment:
  • Identify and assess potential risks related to financial operations and recommend strategies for risk mitigation.
  • Develop and implement risk management procedures to safeguard the organization’s assets.
• Reporting and Communication:
  • Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with various departments to facilitate the resolution of audit-related issues.

Qualifications:

• ACCA/ ICMA/ CA Qualified, Finalist
• Proven experience in leading financial audits, preferably in the Retail Industry/ Audit Firms.
• In-depth knowledge of International Accounting Standards (IASs), Taxation, Costing, and International Standards on Auditing (ISAs).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
